Bill - Our most sincere condolences to you, Dawn and your families on Toot's passing. Jan was here in STL visiting from LA a little more than a week ago. In one of our conversations about the 'old days' the question came up that we had wondered what and the whereabouts of Toots. How strange that she became a part of that conversation. We had some good memories about the early years. Toots was the one who was responsible for Jan and I, upon graduating from high school, getting jobs in D.C. and living with her and Francis for a while. We never had the opportunity of meeting Dawn but it sounds like Toots had a wonderful daughter and family which she loved. The last time I seen Toots was at the funeral home when your Mother passed. that was a long time ago. It was good to see her then. Very sad for you all that you lost her now, too soon. Alzheimers is an ugly disease. Francis died three years ago, the result of a badly diseased heart, only 10% of his heart muscle working. Both of them would have loved another ten years or more. We did not what to miss this opportunity to let you all know you are in our thoughts. Our prayers are with you and may the peace of the Lord be with you at this difficult time.
