Charles Spicola, 89, of Farmersville Station, NY formerly of North Collins, NY died Saturday, April 1, 2017.
Born March 30, 1928 in North Collins, NY, he was the son of the late Vincent and Mary (Chiappa) Spicola. Charles divided his time these last five years between Farmersville Station, NY and Lakewood Ranch, FL. He spent his golden years reliving his beloved dairy farming memories, enjoying reruns of Gunsmoke, and listening to classic country music.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Mary (Smith) Spicola; four sons: Terry (John) Spicola, Farmersville Station, Vincent (Karen) Spicola, Syracuse, NY, Glenn Spicola and Charles (Amy) Spicola all of North Collins, nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Anna Dickinson, Elma, NY; five nieces and two nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Dominic Spicola; and four sisters, Theresa Coleman, Josephine Gonzalez, Rose Vigiloli and Caroline Delmonte.
