Mildred L. McCormick Mason, Age 87, of New Brighton, died December 26, 2016 at Providence Health Care, Beaver Falls. Born August, 14, 1929 in Uniontown, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Ottis (Dewey) and Mary Frances Addis McCormick-Koller. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God, NB and was the Children's Church Leader for many years. She enjoyed reading and crocheting and helping at Tangora Sports Cards in New Brighton. She had a love for cooking and baking. Surviving are 4 daughters and 3 sons in law, Sandra Altsman, Summerville, SC, Deborah (Charles) Tangora, Daytona Beach Shores, FL, Cynthia (Henry) Fosnaught, Darlington and Michelle (Keith) Heid, NB, 2 sons and 1 daughter in law, David (Barbara) Mason, NB, Robert Mason, NB, 16 Grandchildren, 38 Great Grandchildren, 26 Great Great Grandchildren, close friends; Jim Mckee and Janet Washburn, a brother and sisters in law, Ottis (Eleanor) McCormick, Rochester and Audrey McCormick, New Brighton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George D. Mason, a son James Mason, 2 sisters and brother in law, Ida (Robert) Sabatula and Audrey McCormick, a grandson, James Mason Jr., 3 brothers , William, Kenneth and Paul McCormick, 3 great grandchildren, Sara Anderson, Michael Champion and Gabriel Champion and her step father John Koller. Friends will be received Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, additional visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2016 at 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am with Pastor Lon Hogue of First Church of God, NB officiating. While flowers are welcome; the family suggests memorial contributions be made if desired to: The First Church of God, 605 9th Avenue New Brighton, PA 15066 Private interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester, PA.
