Obituary of Earl Richard King

Earl Richard King, 90, of New Galilee, Pa, passed away in the comfort of his home, on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 surrounded by loving family, with his famous line echoing in their minds, “I’ll tell you when it’s time to leave.” He was born to his late parents on February 9, 1932 in Wampum, Pa. He was a proud Veteran of the Korean war. He spent most of his life as a crane operator for B&W and was a member of the VFW Post 8106 and the LMBA. He is survived by his wife, Sandy (Morgan) King; four children, Diana (Scott) Kalac, Bill (Erin) King, Kim (Randy) Swogger, Doug Crees; three grandchildren, Mark (Megan) Jones, Shawna (Josh) Glass, Sebrina (Darian) Burden; nine great grandchildren, Austin, Madisyn, Nathan, Caitlyn, Giovani, Lorenzo, Zayne, a special little girl and his hero, Khalil; and a very special friend, Lou Liller. There will be a visitation on Friday, December 9, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Campbell’s Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, Pa 15010 and service on Saturday, December 10th at 10 am at the funeral home with Reverend Andy Russell officiating. In memory of Earl, please remember, “there’s a porkchop at the bottom of every bottle.”
