Obituary of Ilene Sansone

Ilene (Brooks) Sansone, 81, of Chippewa Twp., passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at the Celebration Villa in Chippewa. She was born August 5, 1940 in Rochester, Pa to the late Amos Milton and Mary Irene (Adair) Brooks. Ilene was a graduate of Rochester High School, class of 1958. She was employed for a number of years by Kaufmann's and Macy's Department Stores. She mostly took on the role of being a wonderful mother, homemaker, and caregiver to several family members. She loved being with her family, animals of any kind, decorating, completing puzzles, and going to Zumba. She is survived by her three daughters, Linda (Tom) Pavlinich, Lisa (Don) Sodergren and Gina (Paul) Lansberry; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and sister, Judith Denkovich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Eugene Sansone; siblings, James Brooks, Betty Nahod, Sarah Jean Sanchez and Kathleen Brantner. Friends are welcome to visit on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 6 to 8 pm at Campbell's Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, Pa 15010. The service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 10 am with Reverend Robert Saul officiating. Private interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
