Obituary of Betty J. Brown

Betty J. Brown, 82, of Chippewa Twp. passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022 in the comfort of her home.
Born July 15, 1939 in Beaver Falls, Pa to the late Harry and Evelyn (Woods) Robinson. She worked in shipping and receiving and several other positions within Westinghouse for many years. After retirement she worked at her daughter’s restaurant, Giuseppe’s Tuscany Grill, as a hostess. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She was an avid golfer and bowler, an excellent corn hole player, and enjoyed lots of activities. She was a line dancer with the Granada Rockettes and participated in the Senior Olympics. She was a member of countless organizations including Women’s Bowler Association, Silver Sneakers, United Croatian Club and the Italian Club. She will be remembered for baking the best cakes and her participation in several golf tournaments. She won The Times/Blackhawk Seniors Championship in the 64 and over flight multiple times.
She is survived by four daughters, Connie (Ron) Frey, Patti (Rob) Shuler, Vicky (Bruce) Humphrey, Wanda (Jim) Lutz; son, Norman Brown, Jr.; 12 grandchildren, Ronald, Michael, Andrew, Matthew, Lauren, Nicole, Stacey, Casey, Jimmy, Robin, Randy and Koree; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Harry (Sandy) Robinson; sisters, Donna (Don) Wilcox and Judy (Jerry) Costello; friend and sister in law, Betty (Charles) Heaton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Jim (Terri) Robinson and Bob Robinson; best friend, Donna Kountz.
There will be a visitation on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Campbell’s Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, Pa 15010. A service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 in the funeral home at 10 am.
Procession will follow to St. Mary’s Cemetery.
