Obituary of Dolores Ann Redmond

Dolores Ann Redmond, 89, of Chippewa Twp. passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 in her home. Born January 12, 1933 in Aliquippa, PA to the late August and Mary Pomaybo. She was a jack of all trades. There was nothing she couldn’t do and everything she did was perfect. She was the perfect seamstress and artist. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and had quite the green thumb. She met her loving husband while roller skating on New Year’s Eve in 1953. Two years later they were married and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Surviving is her husband of 66 years, Delbert Redmond; daughter and son in law, Linda (Gary) Colbert; brother in law and his wife, Don (Nancy) Redmond; nieces, Nikki (Bill) Waugaman, Carol Ann Haffey, Kathy Majcher, Terry (Bill Hoover) Antoniassi, Kathy Merriman and Becky; nephews, Eric (Jenna) Redmond, Robert and Gary Pomaybo; sister, Gerry Merriman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother and sister in law, Mike and Carol Pomaybo. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Campbell’s Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, Pa 15010. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 1 pm with Father Naugle. Private interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
