Elizabeth Ann Eckhardt, 85, of Beaver Falls, Pa, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 in her daughters home.
Born June 30, 1936 in Beaver Falls, Pa to the late Albert and Josephine (Crognale) Moore. Betty Ann devoted her life to raising her five children. Many people in her neighborhood and community consider her as having been instrumental in their lives; her door and kitchen were open to many. She was a lifetime member of Saint Philomena Parish (now Saint Monica), where she served as a Christian Mother. She was active in the community. Some of these activities include: serving as Activity Director at 37th St. playground; working the election polls; actively participating in the Beaver Falls Tiger booster club; and coaching cheerleaders at Saint Philomena school. She was dedicated to both children and animals, donating regularly to Saint Jude‘s Children’s Hospital and ASPCA. She will be greatly missed by her family and all those who loved her.
She is survived by her children, George (Debra) Eckhardt, Daniel (Diana) Eckhardt, Leigh (Terrance) McCall, Lisa (Ken) Black; 15 grandchildren; Sara, Matthew, Justin, Danielle, Erika, Christopher, Channon, Molly, Maggie, Meghan, Michael, Tommy, Lorianna, Katie and Noah; great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Eckhardt; daughter; Lorraine Knight, and sister; Carol Lee Burkhart.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 4 pm to 8 pm at A.D. Campbell Funeral Home, 1326 8th Avenue, Beaver Falls, Pa 15010 with a Mass of Christian burial at St. Monica Roman Catholic Church on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 11 am, 116 Thorndale Dr, Beaver Falls Pa, 15010 with Father John Naugle officiating. Family and friends will meet at the church.
Procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
