"DeeDee Phil" is what my daughters Victoria and Vanessa called Philomena. She and "Pappy Chuck" were like grandparents to my girls. I have so many fond memories of them. Philomena will always be in our hearts and memories. She taught me to sew...She encouraged me to make Christmas dresses for my girls. I would walk across the yard to get help. I would see her light on in her sewing room...I could see the light of Pappy Chucks pipe in the garage. I used to love the smell of his pipe when you walked into the laundry room. Phil would get mad...but then smile her big beautiful smile. I moved away a few years ago....but my memories of she and Chuck are some of my happiest.
With love,
Tracy Pasquale

My name is Ron Stanton. I was your mother and father’s plumber for many years. I don’t know who liked a service call at their house. Them or me. After repairs were made and the bill paid it was time to sit and talk. She was very proud of her family and grandchildren. She was just sad that they didn’t get to see them as much as they would have liked. There were a couple of talks that lasted a couple of hours. I never minded talking to my older customers because that was their social time. After your father passed I stopped a couple of times just to talk to her. When she found out that my son played drums in a lot of high school and Penn State musicals and that my daughter-in-law did a lot of the costumes, add at least another half hour to the talks. We always had to go to the basement and she would reminisce about all the costumes that she had made. She was very proud of them. They were such a cute couple who you could tell how much they loved each other. If you would ever want to get rid of the costumes, I would gladly buy them for my daughter-in-law so that your mother’s legacy would live on through many musicals. My number is 724-312-4900 if ever interested. Thank you.

I was saddened to learn of your mother's passing. It has been years(decades) since I last saw both your mother and father.
Even knowing that the end of one's life is inevitable, the death leaves an empty spot that can only be filled with memories.
Every family has their ups and downs in life that add to a persons resolve and being. It makes us who we are and leaves the thoughts that keep one's soul alive.
My sympathies to the extended families and I hope the fond reflections last for generations.
