I've known Betty since we attended high school together and she was a forever friend. She was fun and adventurous. She was dependable and prayerful for those in need of her prayers. She loved living in Florida where she enjoyed life to the fullest but her heart always lived in her hometown of Beaver Falls, Pa where she returned as often as she could. Her roots were so important to her that she organized a group of former Beaver Falls residents who now live in Florida. Each year they had a big get-together to reminisce. I'm guessing that this group is all Steeler fans, as all of us raised in this area are. Betty was certainly no exception and flew their flag high in front of her Florida home during football season.
I know that Betty will be missed by all of her family and friends but this time she has returned to her heavenly home and to Betty I say, rest in love and peace my good friend. You have enjoyed a life well lived.
