David E. Betke, age 75, of Chippewa Township, PA,  passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 in Good Samaritan Hospice.

 

He was born March 11, 1944 in New Brighton, PA to the late J. John & Dorothy (Elliott) Betke. He was a member of the New Brighton Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He enjoyed fishing and boating and his cat, Precious. He was a member of the Local Plumbers Union #27.

 

He is survived by his son, David E. (Marlene) Betke, Jr. of Hopewell, PA; his daughter, Tracy (Jason) Sabatasse of Happy Valley, OR; sisters, Sandra Lee (Edward) Dancek of Lansing, MI, Linda Lou (Jim) Kusch of Darlington, PA, and Donna Rae (Donald) Rapp of Mount Airy, MD; special friends, Dan & Bernadette Parsons and Dr. Grace Tarabay.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn M. (Preast) Betke and grandson, Dallas Matthew Sabatasse.

 

Friends and family will be received Friday, September 27, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. in Campbell's Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 with a service to follow at 7 p.m. with pastor Michael Grimes officiating.

 

Private interment will take place at Athens Memory Gardens.

 

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Good Samaritan Hospice, Concordia Lutheran Ministries, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
