Obituary of Philip William Yost

Philip "Philly Dawg" William Yost, age 80 of New Galilee, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019 in Good Samaritan Hospice.

Philip was born in Beaver Falls, Pa on December 19, 1938 to the late William and Edna (March) Yost. He loved all sports, but his favorite was football and he was a Steelers fanatic. When not watching sports he was spending time with his family. He loved his time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was fun-loving and kind. He would give the shirt off his back and opened his home to anyone and everyone.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Shirley "Maggie" Clark Yost, five sons, Philip Yost, Ellwood City, Edward Yost, Ellwood City, Matthew Ferguson, New Brighton, Jason Ferguson, New Galilee, Bryan Yost, Chicago, IL, one brother, Edward Yost, Mercer, PA, fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, August 22, 2019  from 4pm until time of service at 8pm in the Campbells Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA. Services will be conducted by Pastor Andy.
