Rodney Slider, Sr., age 85 of Chippewa Township, died on Saturday, April 13, 2019.
Born April 4, 1934 in Thomas, West Virginia, to the late Ray and Thelma (Derham) Slider. He worked for LTV Steel for 29 years until his retirement in 1986. He enjoyed crocheting with his late wife of 39 years, Bernice Slider.
He is survived by his children; Rodney (Holly) John Slider, Jr. and Ray Slider, stepchildren; Mary Ellen (Rich) Kuniewicz, Thomas (Cindy) Knotts, Carolyn (Tom) Baker and several grandchildren.
Besides his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his daughter; Renee Slider.
