Aron A. Cox II, age 82, of Beaver Falls, passed peacefully at Providence Care Center on March 23, 2019.

 

Born March 16, 1937 in Richmond, Georgia to the late Aron Andrew Cox I and Mary Willis Cox. Aron came to Pennsylvania in 1957 and after numerous jobs he was hired by Jones and Laughlin Steel, now known as LTV Steel, which he retired from after working 42 years.

 

Aron enjoyed activities such as fishing, attending family reunions, bowling, playing the lottery and going to mountaineer race track casino in West Virginia. Aron was married to Catherine (Gray) Cox of Mobile, Alabama.

 

Aron is survived by his daughter; Crystal Cleckley of Erie, PA, son; Barry Cox of Beaver Falls, PA, granddaughters; Chevon Cleckley of Rochester, PA, Autumn and Deirdra Cox and Dymond Jones, all of Beaver Falls, PA, grandsons; Christopher Cleckley of Ambridge, PA, Damonte Thomas and Elijah Jones both of Beaver Falls, PA, brother; Curtis Cox, sisters; Rushie Bell Cox Reddick, Essie Mae Cox, Essie Lee Cox, Emma Holston.

 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother; Eugene Cox and sister; Dorothy Cox Stewart.

 

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 12 PM until the time of service at 2 PM in the A.D. Campbell Funeral Home, 1326 8th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 with Pastor Bobby Wilson officiating.
