Obituary of Mary Catherine Damaska

 

Mary Catherine “Cathy” (Larson) Damaska, 62 of Beaver Falls died Wednesday, March 20, 2019 unexpectedly at her residence. She was born April 9, 1956 in New Brighton, PA

 

Cathy was the daughter of the late John A. and Joan M. (Beichner) Larson and wife to William F. Damaska, IV until his passing in 2008.

 

Cathy and her husband were former owners of Billy's Tavern in Beaver Falls and enjoyed their time away at their camp in Franklin, PA. Cathy loved the beauty of the outdoors and getting her hands dirty while gardening. Cathy, also affectionately known as “Bubba” by her grandchildren, treasured each and every one of them dearly and being their grandmother was her pride and joy. Whether it was sleepovers, playdoh,  crafting or creating “Fairy” gardens, their “Bubba” loved and cherished each moment she spent with all of them.

 

Cathy is survived by her two sons; William (Caitlin) Damaska V, Brian (Katie) Damaska, six grandchildren, Emily, William VI, Adelyn, Olivia, Greta, and Mavis; two siblings, John (Roxanne) Larson, and Ellie Jo Larson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her husband.

 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 10AM-12PM in the A. D. Campbell Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1326 8^th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. Funeral service will be held at 12PM in the funeral home.
