Obituary of Amelia Zigerelli

Amelia T. (Franze) Zigerelli, 88, formerly of Beaver and Chippewa Township, passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2018 in Meadowcrest Nursing Home, Bethel Park, Pa.

Born Aug. 23rd, 1930, in New Brighton, a daughter of the late Vincent and Teresa Franze, she was employed at Union National Bank in Beaver Falls, and a member of SS. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church of Beaver.  She spent her life caring deeply for her family and enjoying her traditional Italian heritage.

She is survived by her son Robert A. Zigerelli, Scenery Hill, PA; six grandchildren; Paul, Jamie, Amy, Jessica, Anthony and Christopher; 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Robert J. Zigerelli, and a son, James T. Zigerelli.

Friends will be received Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. in the A.D. Campbell Funeral Home, 1326 8th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA where prayers will be recited Saturday at 9:20 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Monica Parish, Thorndale Drive, Chippewa Township with Father Schreck officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
