Obituary of Robert Eugene Foster, Jr.

 

Robert Eugene Foster, Jr. 64, of New Castle, PA died Thursday, January 25, 2018 in the Heritage Valley Medical Center, Beaver, PA.

 

Robert was born September 27, 1953 to Dolores (Sliger) and the late Robert Eugene Foster, Sr. in Beaver Falls, PA. Robert was a hard worker, who loved Pirates baseball, Nascar and going fishing. The most precious time was spent bowling in a league with his late wife, Sue Ellen. His family proclaimed he had the best work ethic they had ever seen and he made friends whenever and wherever he went.

 

Surviving is his mother Dolores (Sliger) Foster; three daughters, Marti (Chris) Gustin of Brockton, MA, Lindsey Hissem of New Castle, PA and Emily (Jason) Snedeker of Chippewa, PA; one son Danny (Lori) Foster of East Palestine, OH; two foster daughters; Jennie Cruz and Jackie Cruz both of PA; 14 grandchildren; two sisters, Kim (Fred) Hancock and Brenda Foster, both of East Palestine, OH; along with several nieces and nephews.

 

Preceding him in death was his wife, Sue Ellen Foster; his father, Robert Eugene Foster, Sr.; and sister, Susan Foster.

 

As per his wishes there will be no public visitation, but rather a memorial service in the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, 718 Market Street Darlington, PA 16115 on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Chris Williams officiating.
