Obituary of Connie Lee White

Connie L. White, 78, of Beaver Falls passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Villa St. Joseph, located in Baden, PA. Born September 8, 1939 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Martha (Polhemus) Orlowski. She was a member of the "Happy Days Car Cruise" of Beaver Falls. Connie taught Sunday CCD classes at St. Rose of Lima for 12 years and volunteered at the Beaver Valley Nursing Home. Connie's greatest joy came from playing with and making memories with her grandchildren and cruising around in her 1957 teal-blue Chevy. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, James (Dick) R. White; five children: Pamela and her husband Thomas Chickness, Harmony; Timothy R. White, Beaver Falls; Bonnie and her husband Charles Lewis, Beaver Falls; Donald and his wife Jean White, East Palestine; Donna and her husband David Ratkovich, Beaver Falls; 8 grandchildren: Andrea and Jason Chickness, Harmony; Chad and Matthew Lewis, Beaver Falls; Christina and Megan White, East Palestine; Jessica and her husband Zachary Black, Beaver Falls; Jacob Ratkovich, Beaver Falls and a brother Gary L. and his wife Frieda Orlowski, Rochester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 2 brothers, Ronald and Robert (Butch) Orlowski. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM in Campbell's Chippewa Funeral Home 2618 Darlington Road in Chippewa, PA 15010. Prayers will be recited Thursday 9:30AM in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Saint Monica Roman Catholic Church, Chippewa, PA, the Mass will be celebrated by Father Kim J. Schreck. Private interment will follow in Beaver Falls Cemetery, Beaver Falls, PA.
