Obituary of Geraldine B. Jones

Geraldine B. Jones, 91, Pittsburgh formerly of Beaver Falls and the New Brighton area, died Thursday, November 23, 2017 in Highland Park Care Center in Pittsburgh. Born January 16, 1926 in New Brighton, She was the daughter of the late John E. and Grace (Hilton) Woodson. She was a longtime member of Wayman Chapel AME Church, New Brighton. In Addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward H. Jones, Sr. (1992), a brother, Edward M. Woodson; three sisters, Dorothy Woodson Carter, Lorene Woodson Gardner McAdoo, and Ila Woodson Alston. Surviving are a son, Edward H. Jones, Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Patricia O. Jones, and a granddaughter, Jessica G. Jones, all of Pittsburgh, PA; a son Douglas H. Jones, Smithfield, VA; and a son Randall M. Jones, Green Brook, NJ; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the A.D. Campbell Funeral Home, 1326 Eighth Avenue, Beaver Falls, where funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Geraldine's memory to, The Geneva Fund, Geneva College, 3200 College Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. Geraldine's family is grateful to everyone for their sympathy and kindness during this time.
