James "Jim" G. Diamond, 76, of White Township, died Sunday, November 19, 2017 in his residence. Born Sept. 19, 1941 in New Brighton, PA, he was the son of the late Howard and Ellenor (Todd) Diamond. He had worked as a crane operator for Koppel Steel. He was a member of the West Mayfield Vets and the Beaver Falls American Legion Post # 261. He had coached in the Beaver Falls Farm League, Beaver Falls Little League and Beaver Falls Colts. Jim loved to do woodworking and he had served in the U.S. Navy. Surviving are his wife of 53 1/2 years Eleanor (Rhodes) Diamond; two children: Lori (David) Mills, Frederick, MD and Brad (Tracy) Diamond, White Twp.; 9 grandchildren: Courtney Diamond, James Diamond, David Mills II, Amanda Mills, Sydney Diamond, Victoria Mills, Addy Diamond, Ethan Mills and Bailey Diamond; 3 great-grandchildren: Mason Diamond, Jack Diamond, and Kenleigh Mills; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marge and Russ Yoho, West Mayfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James J.D. Diamond. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-8 PM in the A.D. Campbell Funeral Home, 1326 Eighth Avenue, Beaver Falls and on Wednesday from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM with Father Kim Schreck officiating. American Legion Post #261 will be conducting a service on Tuesday. Beaver/Lawrence County Veteran's Honor Guard will conduct military rites at 10:45 AM at the funeral home. Private interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver Boro. Memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to the St. Monica's Angel Fund, 21 St. Andrews Drive, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
