Obituary of Gerald Davis Zeh

Gerald Davis Zeh age 82 passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. He was born October 24, 1934 in Beaver Falls, PA The son of the late Theodore Zeh and Isabel "Davis" Zeh, Mr. Zeh attended and graduated from Darlington High School and then from Geneva College. Gerald was a U.S. Navy Veteran and proudly served on the U.S.S. Steven Potter. Mr. Zeh worked for Babcock and Wilcox Sales, Lonestar and Willow Hill Steel companies. Gerald served loyally as a football and basketball official for over 40 years and also served as the past president of the Jaycees. He loved his family and enjoyed following the various activities of his grandchildren. Gerald is survived by his loving, long time companion, Ermyle Tron; three children, Terri Zeh (Margie Dethloff) of Hartland, WI; David (Gianna) Zeh of San Antonio, TX; Brian (Paula) Zeh of Chattanooga, TN; five grandchildren, Maci, Carli, Nick, Darci, and Cole; Four siblings, George Zeh of Darlington, PA; Larry (Judy) Zeh of Beaver Falls, PA; Linda Wilson of Darlington, PA; Martha Ann Beatty of New Castle, PA. Gerald is also survived by many extended family members, Dionn Tron, Denise and Dave McQueen, Debbie Miller and Tom Barr, Chip and Dana Tron, and Dawn (deceased) and Doug Elliot, as well as many in laws and numerous relatives and life-long friends. In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Maie Zeh, and extended family members Visitation will be at the Campbell's Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, Chippewa, PA, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 10:00AM until the time of service at 12:00PM in the funeral home with Pastor Bob Saul officiating. The family also asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choosing in the memory of Gerald.
